What Is CSP?

The Good Sam Continued Service Plan is mechanical breakdown insurance that goes above and beyond a manufacturer’s RV warranty to protect RVers from the high costs associated with a mechanical breakdown.

Does this sound like an RV warranty? Not exactly. CSP is not a warranty program—it’s a true mechanical breakdown policy insurance. That means it’s strictly regulated like any other insurance product and fully insured by an “A” rated underwriter. CSP was created by the Good Sam Club, the world’s largest and most trusted RV organization. Learn more about the benefits of Good Sam Club membership. Designed to protect both new and used RVs, CSP’s highest priority is to ensure reliable, prompt service, comprehensive coverage and quality repairs. CSP was specifically designed for someone who already owns an RV or someone who is interested in purchasing an RV from a private source not a dealership. Here’s how CSP works: if your RV breaks down, simply take it to a service center anywhere in the U.S. or Canada. Call our toll-free number and, we can discuss the repairs with the technician on your behalf. Once work is completed and to your satisfaction, we pay the service center directly. So what exactly is covered under CSP’s mechanical breakdown insurance plan? Coverage depends on your vehicle type. In general, CSP covers most major RV components: transmission, drive axle, suspension, steering, brakes, engine, heating and cooling systems, generator, refrigerator, range and oven, electronics and electrical, L.P. gas, water heater, waste system, water system and fuel delivery.
