How Does CSP Work?

It is easy to get help from CSP when you suffer an RV breakdown. Please note that CSP is not a roadside service plan. For RV road service, we recommend Good Sam RV Emergency Road Service.

Breakdowns and Repairs:
Motorhomes, Travel Trailers, 5th Wheels, Cars, Trucks & SUVs

  1. Step 1: You are on the road and your vehicle breaks down... No need to panic about where to take your vehicle. CSP does not have designated service stations. No matter where you are in the US or Canada, you can take your vehicle to any service center. If you are in a travel trailer or 5th wheel, you can arrange for a service call and have a technician sent to you.
  2. Step 2: Call our toll-free number and we’ll take it from there. Our RV experts will talk to the service center’s technician on your behalf. They will review the service center’s diagnosis and recommendations, then authorize the repair work. Major repairs may require an inspection to verify the extent of the damage.
  3. Step 3: Rest easy with CSP's travel benefits while your RV is being repaired. If your vehicle is unusable due to a covered loss and you're more than 100 miles from home (or you're a live aboard full timer); we help cover your meals and lodging — up to $1,000 for 10 days ($100 per day). For motorized RVs, we'll also add another $60 per day toward a rental car. For towable RVs, we’ll reimburse you up to $50 for service calls, in addition to paying for covered parts and labor.
  4. Step 4: Drive away in your RV and leave the bills to us. Once work is completed, we pay the service center directly for all covered repairs and labor. You pay only your deductible and any non-covered items.
